Don't Bring These 5 Items on Your Next Trip
Packing is all about trade-offs, and I like to pack light because it makes me more mobile. Here are five items that are a waste of space.
Bulky Headphones: Better yet, don't stop there...bring the neck pillow, eye mask, furry slippers, and an extra blanket on the airplane. You look so cool bruh. Get Bluetooth earbuds, like the AirPods Pro, that have active noise cancellation instead.
Full-Sized Liquid Containers: I see people bring full-sized liquid containers for a weekend trip, and I'm shocked. Most hotels already supply soap and shampoo. If your precious skin/hair needs more attention, use travel containers. There are travel-sized containers for fragrance too. - Link*
Extra Shoes: I'm going to get in trouble for saying this, but someone has to say it! You don't need more than two pairs (honestly one pair) of shoes on a trip. Remember, I'm all about the selfies, and I survive with just one pair. *Flip flops don't count because you can squeeze them into your bag.
Books: There's this device called a tablet. It's the same device you spend hours on social media and binge-watching "Squid Game." Yeah, that thing can store books too. Use it.
Umbrellas: This item takes up a lot of space. I've also tried travel umbrellas, but they don't provide enough coverage for me. If you think it's going to rain, buy one at the store when the rain starts.
