5 Things to Do in San Diego Minus Disneyland
Here are 5 things to do in San Diego that don't involve that weird mouse.
Don't drown: San Diego has stunning sea caves that are only accessible during low tide. Be careful because these caves will fill up quickly with water, so take your selfies and leave. View the caves at Sunset Cliffs.
Go to a rooftop bar: San Diego has rooftop bars that are definitely worth checking out. For example, visit The Nolen or the Rustic Root. Also, check out the Gaslamp District for more nightlife activities.
Don't skip dessert. I went overboard on the dessert in San Diego. I recommend MooTime Creamery and Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream (Get the flight of ice cream).
Go to the beach: San Diego has many beaches: Coronado, La Jolla, and many others. Honestly, I can't keep track of all of the beaches. However, La Jolla is my favorite because of the views, the nice shopping area, and the seals! Just don't touch them; the locals will come after you.
Go hiking: You haven't been to San Diego if you didn't go to Torrey Pines State Reserve. It has excellent hiking trails, scenic views, and a beach too!
Bonus
Go to Balboa Park: Get a shot of the culture in this area. This one location has the San Diego Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum, and the Zoo. Personally, I didn't go to the zoo because I'll just go to an Eagles game if I want to see some animals. (P.S. I love Philly. Please don't hurt me…please...)
