I just got back from Iceland and I'm wiped.
Beautiful trip. Long travel. My body has no idea what time it is right now.
So I'm keeping this week's issue short. But short doesn't mean cheap. I've still got something good for you, so let's get right to it.
Keep a double of everything.
A while back I mentioned pre-packing socks and underwear. This is that idea taken all the way.
I keep a full second set of my travel stuff ready to go at all times. A spare toiletries bag (fully stocked). Extra socks and underwear. Backup USB cables. Even a few specific pieces of clothing I only use for trips.
So when it's time to leave, I'm not digging through drawers or repacking my whole life. Most of it is already done. I grab my bag and go.
Here's why this matters more than it sounds. The harder packing is, the less you want to do it. It turns into a chore, and chores are easy to put off. But when prep is almost nothing, that excuse disappears.
Travel stops being a project and starts being second nature.
Make it easy, and you'll go more often. Simple as that.
Keep traveling,
Andrew
