Today's edition is special. My good friend, Anna, from Stuck On The Go wrote this week's post.

When we first met, we started sharing tips and something clicked in my mind, "She gets it. Respect ✊"

Her blog helps busy people incorporate more travel into their lives with a focus on outdoor adventure and food & drink. Especially in the southern US!

Enjoy!

Hi!

I'm all about finding the best deals when traveling so today I'm giving you five tips for using Google Flights to find the best flight deals! Let's jump right in:

1. Use the Explore function if you're flexible - If you don't know where you want to go then the Explore function will give you ideas on where you can get the cheapest flights. All you have to do is enter the airport you want to leave from and you can enter specific dates or leave the dates flexible.

2. Enter multiple airports when searching - I live in North Carolina and fly out of Greensboro, Charlotte, or Raleigh airports depending on price. So when I search, I enter all three of these. Also, if you're flying to a big city that has multiple airports then choose the entire city instead of a specific airport. It will search flights into all of the airports in that city.

3. Price Graph - The price graph will give you an idea of when the cheapest time to fly is based on the length of your trip. You can find the price graph after you complete a search with specific dates.

4. Date Grid - If your time frame to travel is pretty set, but you have some flexibility on the dates that you leave and return then the date grid comes in super handy. Once you enter some dates that you want to travel, you can pull up the date grid and it will tell you what the cheapest dates are to leave and return around those specific dates.

5. Price Alerts - If you have no flexibility in your dates then this will be your best option. As soon as you know you'll be traveling - you want to do this as early as possible - turn on price alerts for your trip. Google Flights will send you an email when the price goes up or down.
