Speakeasy in Austin

just got back from Puerto Vallarta, and before going to bed, I'm going to send this out. Apologies for not getting this out sooner. Scuba diving really messed up my sinuses, so I haven't felt the best.

Here's what really happened: The Dive Master recommended no drinking the night before. "Ha, not happening bruh." In addition, I had a hearty breakfast right before the dive...

Here are some of the speakeasies that I've enjoyed in Austin:

Here Nor There - Honestly, this is the best speakeasy that I have ever been to so far. Getting into the bar is a pain because it requires downloading an app, making a reservation, and entering a secret passcode, but the effort is worth it. I wish I had more pictures, but taking pictures inside the venue will get you removed. They have interesting new cocktails and a unique spin on classic cocktails too.

Garage Cocktail Bar - If you've been to Austin, you probably walked past this speakeasy without even knowing it. The speakeasy is actually in a functioning parking garage. Inside has a retro feel and stylish drinks. I enjoyed it and will revisit it when traveling to Austin.

Floppy Disk Repair Co. - This is another location you probably walk past if you've visited Austin. The drink menu is very entertaining and highly inappropriate. However, the staff is knowledgeable, and they'll recommend a drink based on your preferences.

Bonus:
Firehouse Lounge - I like this speakeasy because it's easy to find and no reservation is needed. This speakeasy is a great backup plan if you're unable to get into the other venues. The staff is friendly, and the speakeasy plays a nice mix of 90s hip hop.

I'm going to sleep...Night!
