Pack Light or Get Slapped

The Will Smith slap was clearly staged. Why? Did you see that flawless slap technique? How many people does he slap regularly?

Being mobile is essential when traveling and dodging slaps. Since clothes take up a lot of luggage space, below are tips to pack light while still looking stylish.

Limit colors - It’s easier to mix and match if you have fewer colors. Fewer colors also multiply the number of outfit combinations. The general guideline is that each article of clothing should be able to match everything else.

Accessorize with scarfs and jewelry – Accessories can spice up the look of a bland getup. For example, a simple scarf can completely change the look of an outfit. Accessories take up less space too.

Limit shoes - You only need one pair of shoes. Two pairs should be the maximum. Choose comfortable shoes designed for walking. Trust me, stilettos and cobblestone don’t mix.

Opt for lightweight, wrinkle-free - Choose lightweight fabrics because it takes up less space. Also, having access to an iron can be difficult on the road, so avoid materials like linen.

Wear layers - A couple of lightweight layers can add as much comfort as one bulky piece. For example, an undershirt, shirt, and light jacket can add just as much warmth as one heavy jacket. Also, wearing layers allows you to adjust to the weather as the day changes.
